Description

Spanning both natural and developed recreational space, the valleys and ridges reflect how the region looked prior to Cabrillo’s 1542 landing in San Diego Bay. Trails cross the terrain toward distinctive routes like the South Fortuna 'Stairway to Heaven' hike, while an informative visitor center sits minutes from downtown San Diego with open views over Mission Gorge.
