Mission Trails Golf Course
3.8 (489)attraction
A William Bell course shifting from valley fairways to the shores of Lake Murray, where a young Tiger Woods once won.
Description

Set below Cowles Mountain about ten miles from downtown San Diego, the course features a 6,000-yard, par-71 layout with a notably challenging second nine tracing the water. It holds a distinct piece of junior golf lore as the stage for the 1990 Optimist Junior World Championship won by Tiger Woods. For practice, the facility provides a lighted driving range with grass hitting stalls, alongside dedicated meeting and banquet facilities.
