Description
Dedicated in January 1977 and named in honor of former City Councilmember and deputy mayor Gilbert Johnson, the park is also known as the Gil Johnson Recreation Center. Across the grounds, the outdoor space provides a tot lot, picnic tables, and a gazebo. Indoors, an activity room and kitchen host recreational classes and open play gym schedules alongside game room activities.
