Description

This 500-acre park takes its name from Mine Kill Falls, which drops 80 feet through a narrow gorge above the Blenheim-Gilboa Reservoir. Its free pool complex is the standout: an Olympic-size pool, wading pool, and dive tank, with the renovated Kiddie Pool reopening for 2026. Beyond the water, there are 8 color-coded miles of multi-use trails, an 18-hole disc golf course, a boat launch, fishing, and winter sports like skating and snowshoeing. Kayak rentals, playgrounds, and picnic shelters round out the offerings, and admission is free, courtesy of the New York Power Authority.
