Milwaukee's Lakefront and Hoan Bridge by Private Helicopter
A private helicopter loop over downtown Milwaukee and the lakefront, with a headset for every passenger and a pilot who narrates.
The listing sells a short private flight: your own helicopter, a pilot who doubles as the guide, and a headset for every passenger so the group can talk to each other in the air. The ride runs 10 to 15 minutes.
It takes off from and lands back at 401 E. Layton Ave., the base the operator lists at Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport, and every landmark on the itinerary is seen without stopping. The operator's FAQ names the aircraft as a Robinson R44.

Two options sit under this one listing: the daytime ride and an evening one it calls the MKE Night Helicopter Tour, priced higher per seat. Both sell per person with a two-seat minimum.

The itinerary names four stops and flies past each one: the Milwaukee Art Museum, Veterans Park on the lake, Fiserv Forum, home of the Milwaukee Bucks, and the Harley-Davidson Museum. The description adds the Milwaukee River, the Hoan Bridge and Milwaukee Bay.
All of it fits into 10 to 15 minutes, and one first-time flyer named the trade-off in July 2024: the staff ran the schedule seamlessly, and the flyer still felt slightly rushed. The same review says the pilot pointed out Milwaukee's attractions as they approached and suggested good camera shots. According to the operator, every seat has a window view.
The art museum says its wings, the Burke Brise Soleil, open when the museum opens, close and reopen at noon, and fold automatically when the wind reaches 23 mph; the museum is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Its own pages disagree on when the wings shut for the day: the visitor FAQ says at closing time, the page about the wings says 10 PM.
Daytime Ride or the MKE Night Option

As of October 15, 2026, the booking calendar listed daytime departures every 20 minutes from 12:00 PM to 2:40 PM on weekends, and from 3:00 PM to 4:40 PM on its weekday dates and many weekends. The evening option ran from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with extra 8:20 PM to 9:20 PM slots on some Fridays and Saturdays.
Across every week the calendar showed, neither option listed a Tuesday or Wednesday departure. The weekdays it did list were Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays, and not every week had all three. One traveler who booked at the last minute for a date in September 2024 wrote that the timing was perfect with the sun setting.
Three Seats per Flight and a Weigh-In Before Boarding
The operator's FAQ caps each flight at three passengers and splits bigger groups across consecutive flights, or across separate helicopters at the same time when more than one is flying. The listing accepts up to 10 people per booking for the daytime ride and 15 for the evening one, so a group larger than three never fits in one cabin.
The operator sets a strict limit of 300 pounds per passenger and 600 pounds for all passengers combined, and weighs everyone privately before boarding. The booking form asks for each traveler's weight as well. Bookings start at two seats; the operator says a solo flyer can buy two tickets to have the helicopter alone, and children under 24 months ride free on a lap.
Getting Aboard, and What Costs Extra
The listing marks the ride wheelchair accessible and suitable for all physical fitness levels. The operator's FAQ is more specific: the R44 is a small aircraft, boarding means transferring up into the cabin with the ground crew's help, and its rule of thumb is that anyone who can get into a truck can usually manage the helicopter.
It asks wheelchair users to reach out before booking, and no animals fly at all, service animals included. Photos are extra: the listing says they are taken on landing and sold for fifty dollars. The operator's FAQ adds that tipping the pilot is customary and that arriving more than 25 minutes late carries a twenty-five-dollar fee. The listing refunds in full when you cancel at least 24 hours before departure and allows the operator to cancel for poor weather.
📍 Flights leave from and return to 401 E. Layton Ave. by Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport, and the operator says not to go to the main airport terminal. Its directions: turn right as soon as you enter the parking lot and continue to the end of the lot, where the MyFlight Milwaukee building sits; parking there is free. The operator asks passengers to arrive 10 to 15 minutes early with a photo ID. Then the headsets go on.
