A rugged cove tucked below Lands End, where crashing surf meets stacked rocks and dramatic Golden Gate views.
Description

Set within the Golden Gate National Recreation Area, the cove is reached via a spur trail off the Coastal Trail near the Lands End Labyrinth. The descent passes an overlook and a tunnel featuring a peeping hole onto the waves, winding down to rugged cliffs where Pacific surf breaks against the rocks. While the path down is straightforward, the climb back provides good exercise, pairing open ocean scenery with picnic spots scattered along the bluffs.
