Description

Set along the Rickenbacker Causeway, this mid-century modern floating stadium was designed by architect H. James Waldron as the country's first stadium designed specifically for powerboat racing. The site also hosted musical concerts and events before closing, looking out over sweeping views of Biscayne Bay where its architectural profile still stands.
