Grand Cantina brings Mexican fusion plates and drag entertainment together in Astoria. Start with fresh tacos and classic margaritas, or try the signature frozen Jameson drink made with tamarind juice. Wednesday adds LatinX Sushi Rolls for 10 dollars and a Jack and Coke for 7 dollars.
The weekly lineup includes Drag Bingo on Thursday nights, with cash prizes. Sunday brings Chismosas with Mimosas, a drag show hosted in the covered garden. Sunday happy hour includes beer and wine for 5 dollars, plus sangria and shots for 7 dollars. On Friday, admission is free and the kitchen stays open until half past eleven PM.
