Description

Located at the corner of 25th Avenue North and Park Plaza in Centennial Park, the building carries a layered civic history. After closing permanently during the unrest of the 1960s Civil Rights movement, it became Metro Nashville’s first structure rehabilitated for adaptive reuse when it reopened in 1972. The space functions as a visual arts teaching facility equipped with painting and pottery studios, reaching its 50th anniversary as an arts center in 2022.
