Description

Acquired by the city in 1939 and dedicated in 1940, the grounds offer passive open areas, playgrounds, and a senior center alongside broad athletic facilities. Its main building, rebuilt in 1994, is named for Dolores Magdaleno, a lifelong local advocate for children's programs, recreation funding, and library preservation. The property also houses the dedicated Bill & Maxine Wilson Skate Park and the Memorial Swimming Pool.
