Description
Self-taught artist Melissa Medina Diliberti grounds her practice in the relationship between the human body and the natural world. Incorporating micro-cement, crystals, and shells, she develops surfaces that feel weathered, unearthed, and alive. The resulting figurative and sculptural forms take direct inspiration from the Southern California landscape, drawing on tide pools, eroded coastlines, sandbanks, and mineral formations.
