Meadowbrook Local Park

Adjacent to Rock Creek Park and near the Meadowbrook Riding Stables, the 16.6-acre park combines neighborhood green space with extensive sports amenities. The playground earned its longstanding “Candy Cane City” moniker from early equipment painted in red-and-white stripes; today, the fenced space features age-specific play areas that let toddlers and older kids play at their own level. Paved, stroller-friendly paths run alongside five softball fields, a lighted baseball diamond, and tennis courts, anchored by a rentable activity building with indoor restrooms.
