Description

Once a large private home and now expanded, San Antonio’s first modern art museum is praised for its manageable size. Rather than overwhelming visitors, the galleries gather works by well-known artists across a wide spectrum of media: late 19th- and 20th-century European and American art shares space with contemporary pieces, metalwork, and wood, alongside specialized holdings in theatre arts, costume designs, and marquettes.
