Set in North Portland's industrial district, the property opened in 1905 as a hub for Polish immigrants before gathering decades of rock lore and stories of Shanghai tunnels. Downstairs centers on the saloon, where a massive oak back-bar pours McMenamins craft beers, wines, and spirits alongside pub fare. Above the stage, the hotel keeps just 11 simple guestrooms, offering an intimate scale alongside occasional notes of maintenance issues.
