Before McMenamins reopened the doors on Cinco de Mayo in 1988, the haunt ran on home-cooked meals, pinball, candy, stogies, and rumored off-the-books pints. Today, the intimate space features a copper bar top beneath a skylight, pouring house-brewed beers and drinks mixed with fresh-pressed juice alongside hearty pub staples.
