McDonald's
3.4 (1,069)restaurant
3.4 (1,069)A replica of Ray Kroc’s 1955 original, complete with vintage single-arch signs and exhibits on the chain’s roots.
Description
The original building was demolished in 1984, leaving this Des Plaines address as a ground-up reconstruction of the 1955 launch site. While visitors appreciate its historical weight, it still runs as an everyday restaurant, and experiences with standard fast-food service and food quality vary.
