Description

Donated in 1978 by William and Virginia McCrillis and managed by Brookside Gardens, the grounds are cultivated for layered, multi-season depth. The living collection pairs ornamental trees and shrubs with an understory of bulbs, groundcovers, and shade-loving perennials that provide year-round texture. Scattered throughout the greenery, a pavilion and benches offer quiet vantage points to sit and take in the naturalistic landscape.
