Originally opened in 1936, the 7,500-capacity stadium functions as a campus anchor well beyond game days, hosting intramurals, club sports, and annual commencement ceremonies. Encircling the Sprinturf pitch is the six-lane, quarter-mile Wetzler Track, a resurfaced circuit that serves as a dedicated training ground for La Salle's track and cross-country teams while doubling as an open recreation space throughout the year.
