Run as a one-man operation by an owner originally from Mexico who has been at this Atkinson Drive lot for a decade, Mayita’s Grill keeps the focus entirely on traditional street food without gimmicks. Tacos arrive packed with homemade pico and guacamole, ready to be layered with different sauces and fresh toppings. The atmosphere is purely roadside—drawn out into the late evening on select nights, with extremely limited seating that keeps most visits quick and casual.
