Mauʻumae Ridge Trail (Puʻu Lanipō)
4.7 (131)park
A demanding Honolulu ridge hike of rolling hills and native forest, climbing toward the overgrown Koʻolau Summit.
Description

Beginning at Maunalani Circle at the top of Wilhelmina Rise above Kaimukī, the trail stands as one of the longer day treks south of the Pali Lookout. The path cuts through a mix of non-native growth and native Koa–ʻŌhiʻa lehua forests, passing four distinct clearings that frame scenic sunset viewpoints across the southern Koʻolau range.
