Mathison Park

At the northern crest, picnic grills sit alongside separate play structures for younger and older children, equipped with swings, slides, and climbing walls. Some picnic tables border the playground, while others are set back for quieter gatherings. Heading south, the wooded slope reveals views toward Puget Sound, Mount Rainier, and SeaTac Airport. Two distinct routes descend the hillside: a soft-surface hiking trail and a wide, paved path lined with resting benches.
