Marzipan Scoops And Cookie Crumble Cakes In Berkeley

Scoop into the afternoon after a slow Berkeley morning, with sorbets to explore and a celebration cake to plan ahead.

Plan an afternoon scoop.

🍨 The Afternoon Scoop

Let a slow weekend morning run its course before heading to iScream on Solano Avenue. The Berkeley shop opens daily at half past noon and closes at 8 PM, putting the first scoop firmly in afternoon territory. Set your sights on 1819 Solano Avenue when the morning has finally loosened its grip.

Daily flavors rotate through choices such as Marzipan, Honey Lavender, Salted Caramel and Equator Coffee. Sorbets sit alongside the ice cream, widening the choice beyond those named scoops. Leave the final flavor decision for the counter, where that changing selection is part of the appeal.

For a group, the custom cakes set the ice cream on a buttery cookie crumble base. A seven inch cake costs 55 dollars and serves eight to twelve people, with ready made cakes also available. Custom orders require four days of advance notice, a date to settle before choosing dessert for the table.
