Description

First dedicated in 1964 as the 19th Street Playground and renamed in 1968 for Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., the 8.9-acre park provides a steady neighborhood gathering place. Around its community center, the grounds include playgrounds, picnic areas, basketball courts, and baseball and soccer fields. It also houses the Dale E. Clinton Resource Center and offers seasonal programs such as after-school care and youth sports leagues alongside summer activities.
