Marsha P. Johnson State Park

Spanning seven acres along the East River, the grounds feature walking paths lined with mature vegetation, a small beach, and shade from mulberry trees. Children have access to a play area and a sprinkler zone, and the park is notable locally as a clean, pet-free space where dogs are not allowed. Traces of the site's history as a 19th-century shipping dock remain visible in the concrete-embedded railroad tracks and old cobblestone paths, and the grounds host the outdoor Smorgasburg food market.
