Marquam Nature Park
4.6 (773)park
Shaded trails wind through hemlock and Douglas fir on Marquam Hill, offering a quiet forest escape close to the city.
Description

Spanning 204 acres, the park serves as a key connection in the regional 40-mile Loop system. Its stretch of the Marquam Trail leads from Willamette Park over Council Crest to meet the Wildwood Trail in Washington Park. The hillside forest supports an abundance of native plant species alongside red cedar and bigleaf maples, while a shelter near the entrance offers interpretive displays and maps for navigating the terrain.
