This pocket green space functions less as a sanctuary and more as a quick perch to take photos of the skyline. While it sits close to DUMBO’s art and shopping, it is not a place for quiet unwinding. The clearing is heavily exposed to city transit infrastructure, leaving visitors to sit with the constant rumble of expressway traffic and trains passing over the bridge. It is best treated as a brief pit stop, located a short walk from the York Street and High Street subway stations.
