🍝 Cacio e Pepe and Gourmet Pizza

Gina La Fornarina is a cozy Manhattan Italian restaurant on East 91st Street, where classic cooking plays out to vintage tunes from the 60s, 70s and 80s. The room keeps conversation easy, which suits a date night or a casual lunch.

Founder Paola Pedrignan opened the restaurant in honor of her father Gino, building the menu on simplicity and recipes passed through generations. The kitchen sends out calamari, a highly praised Cacio e Pepe and gourmet pizzas, with a full bar for drinks alongside. Inside there is limited seating in a small room, while sidewalk tables offer a street-side option. Attentive staff round out the meal.

Breakfast starts early on weekdays, with doors open from half past seven AM to half past nine PM. Saturday and Sunday open at half past eleven AM and close at the same time.
