Description

Originally called Black Oak Park over a century ago, the grounds were renamed to honor the Civil Rights leader. Beneath tall trees, paved walking paths link covered benches, a gazebo, and playgrounds with jungle gyms. The lawn also doubles as an informal stage, drawing neighbors in lawn chairs for live theater performances and Juneteenth celebrations.
