Makapuʻu Point Lighthouse Trailhead

Situated on Oahu’s southeastern tip, the trail ascends slopes along the sea cliffs with views stretching across the windward coast. The route looks directly out toward offshore islets like Manana (Rabbit Island) and Kaohikaipu, doubling as a vantage point for migrating humpback whales during winter months. From the summit, Makapuʻu Point Light sits perched on the cliffs below.
