Description

The Chicago Park District acquired the site in 1969 and officially designated it Magnolia Park in 1973, when several district properties were named for trees and plants. Totalling a quarter of an acre, the site functions as an active community park with no structured programming, while organized park district activities run at nearby Homan Square Park.
