Set at the edge of Ala Moana Regional Park, this 1964 peninsula creates a sheltered swimming basin with a retaining wall that keeps ocean waves calm, leaving shallow water suited to families and casual swimmers. Beyond the water, the expansive turf leaves generous room for jogging, kite flying, and outdoor events, leading up to dusk when people gather along the perimeter facing the Waikiki skyline.
