Macrina Bakery & Cafe

Macrina opened this Sodo outpost in 2008 alongside its wholesale baking and wedding cake operations, moving both over from Belltown. Setting up a counter in a neighborhood with little foot traffic was an uncertain experiment, yet it unexpectedly grew into the bakery's busiest cafe. Even after the central production facility relocated to a larger space in Kent, this storefront stayed put, sustained by the steady crowd that had made it part of their day.
