Description

Transformed from a former junk pit by local residents, the space is shaped by tile artwork created by artist Maggie Smith and neighborhood volunteers, including decorated seating right along the water. The vantage point looks out over steady boat traffic and seaplanes, with views stretching toward Gas Works Park and downtown Seattle. It stays largely quiet on ordinary days, though the compact shore tends to pack in with crowds and music on warm weekends.
