Halloween Rides at Luna Park, Then Classic Coney Island Hot Dogs

Ride Luna Park's coasters under Halloween decor with a paid wristband, then walk five minutes to Nathan's for a classic hot dog.

Ride the Cyclone before Nathan's.

🎡 Saturday at Luna Park

🎃 Halloween on the Midway

Halloween Harvest dresses Luna Park in pumpkins, hay bales and seasonal decor, and the classic Coney Island rides keep running right through it. On Saturday, October 17 the park is open from 11 AM to 8 PM at 1000 Surf Avenue, a block from the boardwalk and the beach. Between rides, the Phantom Grounds Walkthrough and live shows on the Halloween Harvest Stage add a spooky layer, along with a pumpkin patch and balloon artists along the paths.

🎢 Wristbands and the Cyclone

Walking into Luna Park is free, and the rides and Halloween Harvest activities run on a paid wristband bought on the official Luna Park website or at the park's ticket booths. The Boardwalk Day Pass covers unlimited rides across the park, with one ride each on Electric Eden Raceway, Sling Shot and the B&B Carousell, at a gate price of 89.99 dollars from 48 inches up. The cheaper Midway Day Pass covers only the rides in the Midway section beside the Cyclone and does not list the Cyclone itself. Confirm at the booth before counting on a coaster ride.

🌭 After the Rides

When the light fades, walk about five minutes west along Surf Avenue to Nathan's Famous at 1310 Surf Avenue, the hot dog counter that has stood on this corner from 1916. Order a classic frank with fries and eat it outside with the boardwalk a block away. The Coney Island Stillwell Avenue subway station is steps away, an easy finish for the ride home after the park closes at 8 PM.
