Luckie's Pocket Houston
museum
A historic 1919 schoolhouse transformed into a street art and graffiti museum by Houston artist GONZO247.
Description

Conceived as a living art project by native Houstonians GONZO247 and Garrett Clayton, the museum is guided by the stories and career milestones of GONZO247. Its setting also holds distinct civic history: established in 1909 and named for educator and Prairie View instructor Charles W. Luckie, the school was one of Houston's first to honor a local Black educator. Beyond the visual work on display, the space blends cultural history with contemporary art by hosting workshops, cultural festivals, and artist talks.
