Description

Dedicated to the late Lewis Borden, with art donated by the Borden family, the park incorporates sculptures and sheltered seating into a literary retreat. The book titles inscribed across the stone surrounds were dedicated by hundreds of individuals alongside a collection of neighborhood favorites. The layout balances solitary contemplation with room for school groups and friends to gather, an arrangement recognized with a 2009 Mayor’s Design Award.
