Description
Designed by William E. Parsons as part of the Senate Parks system, the grounds occupy a piece of a 61.4-acre historic landscape. Sunlit lawns bisected by diagonal walks open past monumental stone staircases and a water basin, aligning the approach with framed views of the U.S. Capitol.
