Description

This Japanese-inspired cocktail and tapas bar in Greenwich Village pairs creative drinks with small plates like Pastrami Tartare and sandos, plus wine and beer. The Wagyu Lovers drink has been called one of the best in a while, and the food is solid and cheap for NYC. The vibe is trendy and the bartenders kind, but the music can run loud. Newer spots still have kinks: pacing can falter, with all dishes arriving at once, and the 3–5 dishes recommended for two may not fit on the table. The ceviche mosaic stands out among the plates.
