Louie's Pizzeria

Opened 17 years ago by an Army veteran, this neighborhood storefront has a classic, old-school feel. Behind the counter, owner Louie and his father run the shop, chatting with guests and preparing dishes with ingredients like slices of mozzarella, basil, and chunks of tomato. Alongside the pizza, the kitchen turns out freshly made pasta dishes and notably massive salads. The family-friendly space also functions as a convenient stopover, situated just a short train ride or walk from Citi Field.
