Description

Spanning 17 acres just east of downtown Garland, the park is rooted in local history, named after Lou (Lula) Huff, for whom the city's first recreation center was dedicated in the 1950s. Across more than eight developed acres, the 7,500-square-foot play area is cushioned with poured-in-place rubberized surfacing and designed for a wide range of ages and abilities. Alongside the larger motion rides, the grounds mix classic swings, slides, and a seesaw with hands-on features like musical instrument and learning wall panels.
