Lotus Isle Park
4.3 (129)park
Once home to a 1930s amusement park, this Hayden Island park looks out over old streetcar trestle pilings.
Description

The grounds take their name from the Million-Dollar Pleasure Paradise, a 128-acre attraction east of Jantzen Beach that opened in June 1930 as Portland’s largest amusement park. Today, much of the surrounding land has been developed into moorages, houseboats, marinas, and condos. From the park, you can still spot the pilings from the 700-foot trestle that carried streetcars on to Vancouver, Washington.
