Founded by friends from Mexico and California, this spot relies on family recipes and traditional toppings. The experience centers around the open-kitchen setup, where you watch the meat cook and the tacos get assembled in front of you. You can customize your order at a self-serve station for sauces and pico de gallo. With no seating, the crowd moves in a fast, standing loop. Lines are a constant, and though they usually move quickly, some find the price and wait a bit overhyped.
