Long Beach Symphony

This resident orchestral association anchors the local music scene through a two-fold season of classical masterworks and pops series concerts. The ensemble is noted for a repertoire that bridges the gap between traditional and modern composers, delivered by a professional core of musicians under a single conductor. Beyond the stage, the organization maintains a commitment to music education programs for the community. The experience is framed by engaging pre-show talks and a notably helpful administrative staff, favoring a =relaxed atmosphere= that stands in contrast to the formality of larger concert halls.
