Logan Arcade to The Whistler: Pinball and Live Music in Logan Square

One room runs on pinball and arcade cabinets, the other on cocktails and a small stage. Play first, walk fifteen minutes west, and let the night change volume.

Pinball first, then live music.

Logan Arcade to The Whistler

🕹️ Start with the machines

Logan Arcade holds more than eighty pinball machines and arcade cabinets, Twilight Zone and Killer Queen among them. The room is 21 and over, so bring a photo ID. Doors open at 6 PM on weekdays and happy hour runs until 8. Tuesday is league night, with signups at 7:30 and play at 8, no entry fee beyond the coin drop. High Life cans stay at $3 on Tuesdays, a bar price rather than a play price.

🎷 Walk west for the stage

The Whistler sits fifteen minutes west on foot, 21 and over at the door with no cover charge. It runs a record label, a gallery and a stage, and the back half of the night changes with the calendar. The Relax Attack jazz series fills most Tuesdays and Wednesdays, though not every one, and some weeks hand the room to a DJ. Start times and lineups change week to week, so read the calendar that week instead of counting on a fixed hour.

🌃 Make the two halves one night

Two stops, one night, pinball on Fullerton and then a stage on Milwaukee. Play a couple of rounds and walk over before the league starts at 8, or stay for the whole league and come to the bar later. That choice is the whole plan, one night cannot hold both in full. Both rooms are 21 and over, so bring a photo ID, and The Whistler takes no reservations.
