Lo Coco's

Giovanni Lo Coco launched his first restaurant in Jackson, California, in 1966 before relocating to the Bay Area and opening in Berkeley alongside an Oakland sister shop. Today, the restaurant is run by his wife, six children, nephews, and grandchildren. Decades of continuity carry through to the dining room, where newcomers regularly sit alongside parents who first ate here when they were their children's age.
