Description

Run by Philadelphia Parks & Recreation, the facility was built between 1994 and 1998 to replace Plaisted Hall, taking its name from former state senator and park commissioner James R. Lloyd. Beyond everyday amenities like an information center, public restrooms, and water fountains, the building houses indoor basketball courts, a reception space, and a public terrace serving as a launch point into East Fairmount Park.
