Description

The park began in the early 1990s when the Near North Little League transformed a vacant, glass-strewn lot into a ballfield. Subsequent renovations expanded the 2.59-acre footprint, adding bocci-ball courts, benches, and lighting alongside a layout that fits two baseball diamonds within the turf field.

Named for Korean War veteran and Illinois Medical District executive director David O. Livingston, the site operates with no structured programming, keeping the grounds open for local play and neighborhood spectators.
