The trailhead feeds into Forest Park as it stretches across more than seven miles along the eastern slope of the Tualatin Mountains. Managed in conjunction with Portland Parks & Recreation, the broader park network holds over 80 miles of soft-surface trails, fire lanes, and roads, tying local paths into well-known routes like Wildwood Trail and Leif Erikson Drive.
