Lincoln Park
4.6 (99)park
Golden Gate views, coastal hiking trails, and a fine arts museum share this bluff in San Francisco’s northwest corner.
Description

Spanning 100 acres, the grounds encompass an 18-hole public golf course alongside the Legion of Honor, home to European paintings, sculptures by Auguste Rodin, and graphic works from the Achenbach Foundation. Across the street, George Segal’s Holocaust Memorial sits in a grove of trees. Hikers can pick up the California Coastal Trail right here, tracing the cliffs of Land’s End west to the ocean or heading east toward Baker Beach and the Presidio, backed by panoramas stretching across downtown and the Marin Headlands.
