park
At just over half an acre, this pocket preserve quietly protects a restored slice of native pine rockland.
Description

Tucked one block north of SW 216th Street and a block west of Old Cutler Road, this site ranks among the town's smallest public spaces. Its formal conservation began after a 2018 ecological evaluation determined the plot qualified as environmentally endangered land, leading the town council to secure its status. Grant backing from Florida’s Urban and Community Forestry Grant Program helped guide the recovery, supporting a structured plan centered on replanting trees and ongoing maintenance to revive its natural habitat.
